WINnovators training practices is capacity development approach for HEIs (Higher Education Institutions), OIEs (Open Innovation Ecosystems) and local communities, that targets young women in need in rural areas to collaborate, learn and further develop the innovative ideas for jobs in teamwork settings together with HEI students and experts from OIEs.
The challenges are team-based learning modules that are dedicated to the interest of the young rural women to develop an idea for their entrepreneurial activity with STEM/STEAM, sustainability innovation. The challenges offered in Estonia, Serbia and Slovenia are different, because of the interest of young women, students and local mentors’ competencies to guide the activities

STEM and STEAM entrepreneurship in the communities – Challenges
In the first round, 15 young women from rural areas or underprivileged groups like Roma or returnees (rejected asylum seekers) participated as entrepreneurs or pre-entrepreneurs. Read Here
Three mentors, two from BADEN and one from ABW Serbia, worked individually with five teams each, guiding them to familiarize themselves with the WINnovators platform and aiding them in executing their tasks or challenges more effectively. Read Here
